Dear Editor:

A very special thank you to the volunteers, staff and donors of the 20th annual 2013 Boothbay Region YMCA Silent Auction and Cash & Carry.

This year’s committee chairs, Andrew Morley and Rose Rivera, along with numerous volunteers, spent hours organizing, collecting, sorting, labeling and displaying merchandise for the event.

Auction volunteers were Michael Pollard, Penny Pollard, Hillary Friedman, Pauline Dion, Barbara Gibson, Mary Williams, Neal Verge, Rick Elder, Peggy Pinkham, Laura Honey, Andrea Hutchins, Helen Meserve, Ham Meserve, Pam Baldwin, John Lunt, Ted Repa, Betty Repa, Patty Colhoun, David Eastwood and Deezie Flower.

They helped with set up, cash out and answering questions throughout the two-day event. As always, the YMCA staff of Richard Teague, Arlene Celler, Pat Fraker, Mary Baudo, Carrie Eason, Allison Brewer, Doris Welch and Jennifer Dorwart helped with the event in numerous ways.

Last but certainly not least, many thanks to our very generous donors. Because of their overwhelming support, more than $13,000 was raised to benefit BRYMCA Youth Programs.
