Come to the annual Congregational Church Christmas Fair Dec. 2
The Congregational Church Christmas Fair will be on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. All proceeds from the fair will be donated to the Community Resource Council's Community Fuel Fund. This fund helps our neighbors with home heating fuel costs. Our goal is to raise $10,000!
Admission is free! The Vocal and Bell Choirs hosts the Famous Cookie Walk with a variety of homemade Christmas Cookies available for $10 for a baker's dozen. The Deacons will have a table of baked goods for sale. We never know what our talented church bakers will bring, but in the past, cakes, brownies, jams, pies, pickles, banana bread, quiche, and lemon bars have been available. You can find treasures at the Jewelry & Scarf Table! Costume and fine jewelry, knit and silk scarves of different colors and patterns. The Hospitality Committee will be selling Soup To Go for you to take home after a long day at all the festivities in the Harbor. Homemade hot soups, chowders, and chilis with rolls included! The cost is $7 for pints and $14 for quarts.
With a donation to the CRC Community Fuel Fund, donors may request any number of honorary "A Gift of Warmth" note cards to give to friends, family, co-workers, etc., that acknowledge a contribution of heating fuel was made in their honor. These make great gifts and stocking stuffers!
Join all the fun and help us raise $10,000 to help keep our neighbors warm this winter.
