The next meeting of the VIP (Visually Impaired Persons) group will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 1:15 p.m. in the Community Center located in the Meadow Mall on Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor. Anyone with visual challenges is welcome, including their drivers and caregivers. Whether you're facing your first cataract surgery, adjusting to trifocals, have been diagnosed with glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, or have questions about floaters or dry eye, this group offers helpful hints, support, camaraderie, and information about adaptive equipment and resources.
