“All aboard!” That’s the call you will be hearing at Boothbay Railway Village this Saturday, Sept. 30 during the 9th annual Family Harvest Day! From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., families can have some good old fashioned fun.

Get a Pumpkin Pass for $5 and take a hayride to the pumpkin “patch” to find just the right one to welcome the fall season at your home – later to be transformed into a ghoulishly groovy Jack-O-Lantern next month!

There will be games on the Village Green, including cornhole! Barrel Train rides just for the wee boys and girls take them around the Green on an imaginary track; and small pumpkins on the picnic tables will be ready for decorating. And, of course, there will be steam train rides at 11a.m., noon,  1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m.

At 11 a.m., the aroma of hot dogs and burgers from the grills will be wafting through the air ’til 2 p.m. The concessions stands will also offer soft drinks, popcorn and who knows what else!

Admission to this fun-filled day for kids 3-17 is $5 and kids under 3 play for free! Adult tickets are $10.
