A humpback whale put on quite a show off Pig Cove, Southport Island on Sunday, Aug. 20. According to photographer Lisa Dingle, “People were super, not moving other than to be sure their boats didn’t hit the rocks, and not chasing. The whale circled into and out of the entrance to Pig Cove for more than an hour. The whale was not shy!”
