Boothbay girls attend Maine Gold Rush

This past weekend, nine young ladies from the Boothbay Region competed at Maine Gold Rush, a basketball team camp held at Colby College.
The team started off on fire winning the Midnight Madness Tournament on July 5. July 6 began league play, and that night featured the All-Star events.
Page Brown, Faith Blethen and Maggie Larson were named to the All-Star team, and Page Brown was also a member of the winning team in a Pickle Ball tournament.
The team fought through the Western Division playoff bracket July 7 and made it to the championship game before falling to a very good Millinocket team.
