Gleason joins The Swan Agency
The Swan Agency Sotheby's International Realty, one of Maine's most respected real estate companies is proud to announce the affiliation of Boothbay Harbor businessman, Dennis Gleason.
“We are thrilled that Dennis has joined our firm,” said President Kimberly Swan. “We are very discerning in our search for associates and know that Dennis fits the profile of a professional, ethical individual and a contributing member of his community. We have been active in the Midcoast market for some time and look forward to increasing our presence with carefully selected associates.”
Raised in the central Massachusetts town of Clinton, Gleason graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Clark University, where he met his wife to be, Marty. In 1976, Gleason and Marty moved to Boothbay Harbor, where they operated a freelance editorial business for 20 years. Deciding to transform a longstanding passion for art into a business, in 1985, the Gleasons opened Gleason Fine Art, a gallery specializing in late 19th through 21st century art in Boothbay Harbor.
Realizing that selling real estate was a natural outgrowth of his love for Midcoast Maine, Gleason earned his real estate license in 2006, specializing in coastal properties.
An active community member, Gleason has volunteered for the Boothbay Region Land Trust, the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor, and the YMCA. Currently he is a board member of the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden in Boothbay, where he serves on the Marketing and Development committees.
“I chose to affiliate with The Swan Agency Sotheby's International Realty after careful thought,” Gleason said. “I was looking to work with an experienced, ethical team. The company has a decades long history and track record in Maine that holds integrity and client's best interests at the forefront of their mission.”
Gleason can be reached through the company's main office, 207-288-5818 and directly at 207-446-6394 or dennis.gleason@swanagency.com.
