The curtain goes up at the Boothbay Playhouse on Monty Python's version of the search for the Holy Grail, 'Spamalot,' on Thursday, June 27 at 8 p.m. Everyone familiar with the 1975 classic "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," will know what to expect from this Broadway musical and lyrics by Pythoner Eric Idle (how can you go wrong?!) Join King Arthur, Sir Bedevere the Wise, Sir Galahad the Pure, Sir Lancelot the Brave and Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As Sir Lancelot, the Lady of the Lake, The Knights of Ni, the fiesty French and other "Middle Agers."

Shows continue on June 28 & 29, July 3, 5, 10-13 at 8 p.m. with a Sunday, July 7 4 p.m. matinee.
