Dear Editor:

World War II and Korean War veteran Harold Webber of Southport now safely resides in room E28, Company E, Maine Veterans Home, 310 Cony Road, Augusta, ME. 04330. Although Mr. Webber is no longer taking his daily walk to the Southport post office or his stroll around the “loop,” he is hale and hearty and enjoying his private room in the Assisted Living facilty.

On this past May 22, our friend reached his 94th birthday and is still physically strong, although he is slowing down. He is looking forward to occasional visits from his many friends on the Boothbay peninsula.
