Dear Editor:

I would like to thank the following people for their outstanding response to the electrical fire at Hannaford on Friday, April 26.

-The Boothbay Harbor Fire Department for their quick action on scene.

-The Boothbay and Southport fire departments who were on standby to protect people and property.

-The associates who were in the building and responded so quickly and the associates who helped us get things back up and running.

-Our customers who were patient with our opening delayed until about 2 p.m. that day.

Work is underway to rebuild our permanent restrooms and should be complete soon. We are open for business as usual and look forward to seeing you at Hannaford.
