Vote for Rosemary

Mon, 04/01/2019 - 4:30pm

Dear Editor:

Rosemary B. Bourette is running for a seat on the Boothbay Harbor Board of Selectmen. She has lived and worked in the region for over 40 years and has been involved in many aspects of this community. Rosemary and her husband George owned and operated the Carriage House restaurant in East Boothbay for many years.

Rosemary is a wife, mother (both daughters were educated in the Boothbay Region school system) and a very proud grandmother. She is employed at a local business.

Rosemary has credible experience and will be an active, important member of the board of selectmen. Her credentials are impressive: current member of the Boothbay Civic Association; past director of the Student Aid Fund; past member of the Comprehensive Planning board; past director of the Chamber of Commerce board; former Girl Scout leader; and current member of the Board of Appeals.

Rosemary is dedicated to the future of Boothbay Harbor. She is actively involved in preserving the past history of Boothbay Harbor but also looks to the future and the possibilities that will enhance the beauty and prosperity of our community and the entire region.

A vote for Rosemary is a vote for caring, concern, dedication, experience, knowledge and positive thinking.

Rosemary has my vote on May 3. I hope she will also have yours. Every vote counts. Rosemary for the board of selectmen. Vote and make it happen!

Laura S. Honey
