The Rocky Channels Alternative Organizational Structure (AOS 98) budget meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Boothbay Region Elementary School gymnasium on Thursday, Jan. 24.

The 14-article warrant asks voters from the five towns – Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, Southport and Georgetown – to approve the expenditure of $171,708 for special education and $441,749 for system administration for an operating budget total of $613,457.

$30,000 in available fund balances will be applied to the operating budget which will allocate the remaining $583,457 among AOS 98 members via the cost share formula.
