In observance of Independence Day, “God & Country” will be celebrated  Sunday, July 1, at Boothbay Baptist Church during the 10:15 a.m. worship service, followed by a family picnic.

The service will feature patriotic music and the  featured guest speaker  is Carroll Conley, director of the Christian Civic League of Maine.  There will be no Sunday school classes on July 1.

Following the service will be the annual church family picnic outside in the lower level parking lot with grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, as well as side dishes and desserts. Dress casually, and  bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, and any other picnic essentials.  All are invited.
