The Lady Seahawks held off the Carrabec Cobras in a tightly played Western Maine Class C basketball game, 41-28, Friday night at Boothbay Region High School to improve to 14-1.
Boothbay held Carrabec to just nine total points in the second and third quarters to take command of the game. The Lady Seahawks scored 21 points in the first half and 20 points in the second half.
Freshman Page Brown led all scorers with 13 points, while senior teammates Sara Durgan and Morgan Crocker each scored 12. Durgan, Crocker and Ashley Reed were honored prior to their last home game (See BRHS Winter Sports Gallery II) .
Carrabec was led by Emma Pluntke with 10 points.
