Veterans book nears completion, photo needed
After seven years of research, Sarah Sherman McGrail's Boothbay Region Veterans Project is moving on to the typesetting and design phase, and is anticipated to be available to the public by mid to late fall.
As always, pre-orders will be taken once the manuscript is at the printer, and an announcement will be made in the Boothbay Register providing the details on how to pre-order.
McGrail would like to put out one last request out to the public, as she is missing one critical photo of a soldier, Richard Reed, who was killed in action in Korea in August 1950.
Is there anyone in the region who has a photo of Richard they would be willing to share to so it could be copied for the project?
