Boothbay Region Historical Society created a tribute exhibit for Capt. David Dash who co-founded Windjammer Days with his wife, Capt. Marion Dash.

The exhibit includes photographs from his photo album the year he was Grand Marshal of the Street Parade, the captain’s hat he wore that day, Boothbay Register news clippings from the first event, held in July 1963, and others. The tribute is in a glass case and on a table. The exhibit dates: July 1-3.

Boothbay Region Historical Society is at 72 Oak St. in Boothbay Harbor.
