Wildcat girls finish third

On Thursday, Oct. 2, the Boothbay Region Middle School girls cross country team traveled to Great Salt Bay in Damariscotta. The course was a difficult 2.1 miles that included the infamous "Killer Hill."
Cora Robinson was the first Boothbay finisher with a time of 17:04. Jimiah Stetson was not too far behind with a time of 17:18. Jillian Higgins and Annalise Gapski both had top 20 finishes with times of 19:18 and 19:46. Congratulations to Hattie Tomko for completing this course for the first time. Overall the girls placed third.
The team will be competing at the Busline League Championship meet in Waldoboro on Thursday, Oct. 16. Good luck Wildcats!
