"The Princess Bride" - (1987; PG; 1 hour, 38 minutes) - As part of Lincoln Theater's 150th Anniversary, we are celebrating cinema’s Modern Classics with Beloved Rewatchables. Framed by a grandfather reading to his bedridden grandson, "The Princess Bride" follows Westley as he embarks on an epic journey to rescue his true love, Buttercup, from an unwanted marriage. Along the way, he crosses paths with unforgettable heroes and villains, sword masters, giants, outlaws, and miracle workers in the mythical kingdom of Florin. "The Lion King JR" - (runtime about 1 hour) - Y Arts Production - Disney's “The Lion King JR.” brings the African savanna to life in a vibrant stage adaptation of the beloved animated film. Follow the journey of young Simba, a lion cub destined to become king, as he faces loss, self-doubt, and adventure before discovering the courage to embrace his true place in the Circle of Life. "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" - (2001; PG -13; 2 hours, 58 minutes) - As part of Lincoln Theater's 150th Anniversary, we are celebrating cinema’s “Modern Classics,” with Beloved Rewatchables. Thank you to those who voted! The future of civilization rests in the fate of the One Ring, which has been lost for centuries. Powerful forces are unrelenting in their search for it. But fate has placed it in the hands of a young Hobbit named Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), who inherits the Ring and steps into legend. A daunting task lies ahead for Frodo when he becomes the Ring-bearer - to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom where it was forged. Join Lincoln Theater’s new youth theater program: C.A.S.T. We are excited to bring more theatrical opportunities to our community with the introduction of a Coastal Arts Student Theater (C.A.S.T.)! And we are thrilled to welcome Emily Mirabile to the team as Lincoln Theater’s C.A.S.T. Program Director. Lincoln Theater’s Youth Theater Program is tuition based with opportunities offered year-round. Beginning in September 2026, young performers will have the opportunity to participate in a pilot production of "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile JR.," an original musical by Nick and Emily Mirabile, "The Rooster Who Wouldn't Crow;" classes through the Theater Lab & Vocal Studio, as well as the C.A.S.T. Touring Troupe headed to compete at the National Performing Arts Festival in Orlando Florida! Sessions begin Thursday, Sept. 3 ("Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile"), Wednesday, Sept, 9 (The Rooster Who Wouldn’t Crow), Thursday, Sept. 10 (Theatre Lab & Vocal Studio), and Saturday, Sept. 20 (Stage Troupe). Auditions for LCCT’s winter production! - Lincoln County Community Theater (LCCT) will hold open auditions for the world premiere of its new holiday comedy “The Inn at Little Bethlehem,” Sunday, Sept. 13 and Monday, Sept. 14.
