"The Wedding Banquet" - (R; 1 hour, 43 minutes) - A joyful comedy of errors about a chosen family navigating cultural identity, queerness, and family expectations. Frustrated with his commitment-phobic boyfriend Chris and running out of time, Min makes a proposal: a green-card marriage with their friend Angela in exchange for her partner Lee's expensive IVF. Elopement plans are upended, however, when Min's grandmother surprises them with an extravagant Korean wedding banquet. The Wedding Banquet is a poignant and heartfelt reminder that being part of a family means learning to both accept and forgive. "A Streetcar Named Desire" - National Theatre Live - (R; 3 hours, 18 minutes) - Gillian Anderson (Sex Education), Vanessa Kirby (The Crown), and Ben Foster (Lone Survivor) lead the cast in Tennessee Williams’ timeless masterpiece, returning to cinemas. As Blanche’s fragile world crumbles, she turns to her sister Stella for solace – but her downward spiral brings her face to face with the brutal, unforgiving Stanley Kowalski. From visionary director Benedict Andrews, this acclaimed production was filmed live during a sold-out run at the Young Vic Theatre in 2014. "The Ballad of Wallis Island" - (PG-13; 1 hour, 40 minutes) - Charles (Tim Key), an eccentric lottery winner lives alone on a remote island and dreams of getting his favorite musicians, McGwyer Mortimer (Tom Basden and Carey Mulligan) back together. His fantasy turns into reality when the bandmates and former lovers accept his invitation to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island. Playing Friday, June 6 at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 7 at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 8 at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 11 at 2 p.m. (with OC) and 7 p.m., and Thursday, June 12 at 2 p.m.
