“Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain” - (R; 1 hour, 59 minutes) - It’s not where you go. It’s what you leave behind … Chef, writer, adventurer, provocateur: Anthony Bourdain lived his life unabashedly. ‘Roadrunner’ is an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at how an anonymous chef became a world-renowned cultural icon. From Academy Award winning filmmaker, Morgan Neville (20 Feet from Stardom, Won’t You Be My Neighbor?), this unflinchingly honest look at Bourdain reverberates with his presence, in his own voice, and in the way he indelibly impacted the world around him. Playing at 2 and 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20; Saturday, Aug. 21; Wednesday, Aug. 25 and Thursday, Aug. 26.  And  at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22.

Tickets available online in advance through the theater’s website at www.LincolnTheater.net or in person starting 30 minutes before showtime. Information on programs is available by visiting the website. The Lincoln Theater is located at 2 Theater St. in downtown Damariscotta. Curtain going up!
