Dear Editor:

I am supporting Charlotte Nutt for State Representative because I believe our community would benefit from having someone in Augusta who understands the Midcoast firsthand and has the experience to help address the challenges we face.

Charlotte grew up in Edgecomb, so she knows our community and the issues that matter to the people who live here. Her connection to this area is not simply political—it is personal.

Charlotte is also a self-employed data consultant whose work focuses on building resilience for Midcoast municipalities. She works with municipal leaders on issues including housing, transportation, economic development, and environmental sustainability. These are not abstract policy questions for our communities; they are challenges that affect our towns and our neighbors every day.

What particularly impresses me is the combination of local knowledge and practical experience Charlotte brings to public service. She understands that good decisions require listening to communities, understanding the facts, and finding workable solutions.

At a time when the Midcoast faces important decisions about its future, I believe we need representatives who know the area, understand the challenges facing our municipalities, and are prepared to work constructively on solutions.

Charlotte Nutt brings that perspective and experience. I encourage voters in our district to learn more about her and what she hopes to accomplish in Augusta.
