Veggies to Table launches season 8, save the date Aug. 9
Veggies to Table in Newcastle is preparing for its eighth growing season. While the fields may be quiet beneath two feet of snow, the team is far from resting. Behind the scenes, they are finalizing crop plans, ordering seeds, and strengthening partnerships to support another year of growing and donating fresh, organic food to nourish the community and support neighbors who need it most.
Growing food, feeding neighbors
Thanks to our team and supporters, in seven seasons, Veggies to Table has grown and donated 95,050 pounds and 286,225 servings of produce and 153,700+ joyful flowers. In 2025 alone they grew and donated 18,000+ pounds of organic vegetables and 58,412 flowers that reached hungry community members across Lincoln County through 35+ partner sites. This work was powered by 193 volunteers contributing 5,000+ hours.
In Season 8, the farm aims to:
● Increase yield and efficiency through refined crop planning and regenerative practices
● Grow more culturally appropriate foods guided by partner feedback
● Expand education programs on storing, preparing, and using donated produce
Welcoming new leadership
