'Truly, Madly, Deeply' exhibit opens July 12
“Truly, Madly, Deeply,” is the midsummer exhibit at the Stable Gallery, Damariscotta. The public is invited to join artists and friends for the gala opening reception on Friday, July 12 from 5-7 p.m.
Musician Dave Mello will provide entertainment for the event.
The 11 featured artists include: painters Hati Modr, Priscilla McCandless, Richard McFaul, Kevin James and Kathleen Mack, Priscilla McCandless and Hadi Modr; Susie Stephenson's hooked rugs, Fiona Washburn's silks, both scarves and wall pieces; Charles Durfee’s furniture in traditional New England, colonial and Shaker styles; Mary Hall's gold and silver jewelry, ceramicist Jonathan Mess and Adero Willard's clay pieces.
The Stable Gallery is connected to the Victorian house that once belonged to clipper shipbuilder Eldridge Norris. The tack room and stalls, faced with black walnut, are a fitting place for the array of talent and creativity to be seen from mid-May to mid-October each year.
The Stable Gallery is located at 26 Water Street and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
