Thanks to all for help with Sullivan dinner
On June 8, the Boothbay Harbor Fire Department, aka, Minnehaha Fire Company, held a spaghetti dinner for the Peter Sullivan family at Boothbay Region Elementary School. As many of you know, Peter suffered a stroke a few months ago and has improved significantly. We raised nearly $3,000 and 100 percent of the proceeds went to the Sullivan family.
Thanks go to the fire department members and their wives/significant others for helping to set up and their donations of supplies. Thank you to John Reed of Fisherman's Wharf for the spaghetti sauce. Thank you to the elementary school for allowing us use of the kitchen/gym. And special kudos to Cathy, Carolyn and Dawn for your hard work in the kitchen. We couldn't have done it without you.
