For those counting down the days until the Junior Sailing Program starts, the countdown hit zero this morning. The sailing program is in full swing with the deeply rooted right of passage and safety test. Like many of their parents and grandparents, a brave group of sailors took their swim tests this morning. All passed with flying colors! Cozy Harbor is bustling with larger boats navigating the sea of turnabouts and Optis.

We hope to see all members at the Member Meeting at the club on Saturday morning, June 28 at 10. Your voice is important as we plan for the future, making sure we preserve all of the important traditions at SYC.

The Comomdore’s Opening Reception is Saturday evening. Kickoff time is at 6 p.m. Something delicious to share is always encouraged. Kids are welcome to attend and supervision will be provided. We will even feed them pizza. Here is a link to sign up so that we can plan for ordering the pizza.

We're excited to return and greet our membership, launching another wonderful season at SYC! Thank you to all who have renewed with us this year and extra thanks for your patience as we navigated the new website and renewal process.
