The Boothbay Region High School girls basketball team, playing without two of its players, fell to the Sacopee Valley Hawks, 29-25, in Hiram Friday night, Dec. 13.

Starting point guard Bella Orr was out sick and Lilly Brown is recovering from a concussion, said Seahawks Coach Bruce Orne.

Anna Gosselin led Boothbay with 11 points. Tatum French and Sophie White had four points each.

Both teams are now 1-2 on the season.

The Seahawks next host Hall-Dale (3-1) on Monday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m.
