Oops
Somehow, along the way, this image got misplaced.
Quite possibly in the shoebox-under-the-bed portion of my computer, which swallows up unsuspecting photographs left unattended and unmanaged, not unlike other areas of my life.
At any rate, it's one I had hoped to share at a time closer to when it appeared. How unlike me.
Winter in June seems fine; whose idea was that anyway?
For years we have driven by this zen-like setting across from Love's Cove on our way home, down infamous Route 27 South.
You know, the one people use to get back to Portland or meet the ferry at Newagen. That Route 27 South.
Karyl Bannister, of fun “Cook and Tell” fame, oversees and manages the care of her lovely old farmhouse property.
Karyl has written wonderful food stories for 30 years, many and often for the Boothbay Register. And every year I photograph the bloomings of her plants to add to my overflowing shoebox of soon to be viewed and shareds.
Even though it's a bit later than intended, I thought it might be nice to enjoy another visit. Maybe think of it as an early view of next year rather than a late view of this year.
