Dear Editor:

You’d think after photographing the NIAGARA project at Sample’s Shipyard for five months, that I would know how to spell NIAGARA. But alas, such was not the case in last week’s column.   Sorry.  And,I even visited Niagara Falls as a kid with my family. I couldn’t even pronounce it then. 

Maybe future projects will have simpler names like USS Bob, or Carol, or Greg or Sam. I’d have a better shot at correct spelling! 

Despite my mistake, the re-launch of NIAGARA went very well with continued preparations underway for the ship’s return voyage to Lake Erie in June.
