News and notes from the Community Center
A quick reminder, State Representative Holly Stover will be visiting the Community Center on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 10:30 a.m. to discuss current legislative issues and how they impact our community.
A group went from the Community Center to visit the Frances Perkins National Monument. You have likely driven by it on the River Road and missed it! As a new National Monument, they are still working on getting it updated and fully open, but will be back next year to check out the rest of it. We will announce the next adventure soon!
As many of you know,Betsy Smale had to step down from her position here. As a result, we are seeking someone to take over her duties as the Administrative Assistant. This role is part time (M – F, 10 am – 2 pm). If this role may be right for you, give us a call at 207-633-9876 to further discuss the role.
Stop by the Community Center any weekday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for puzzles, games, coffee, tea, and sweet treats! Bring your ideas, share a few laughs, and help us enjoy our snacks—without overindulging! We love welcoming new faces and hope to see you soon.
