The May chapter meeting will take place this Thursday, May 21 at 12:30 p.m., American Legion Hall, 23 Industrial Park Drive, Boothbay.
The program will be an interactive talk with Miranda Dillingeron “Garden Pests, and How To Deal With Them.” Bring an appetizer to share. Guests are welcome.
The June chapter meeting will be on June 18. We will meet at 11 a.m. at thePownalborough Courthouse, 23 Courthouse Road, Dresden for a guided tour. A picnic lunch will follow and then a tour of the Bowman House. Tickets will be $15 for the Courthouse (Free to members of the LCHS) and $25 for the Bowman House. Join us for a picnic lunch outside at the Courthouse or at Linda Wood's home nearby (TBD, weather-dependent). Sign up is required by June 15. Contact Regent Miller.
The July chapter meeting will be a field trip to Bath. We will meet at 11 a.m. in the Lobby of Maine Maritime Museum, 243 Washington St. The Museum is hosting us and including tickets to view the Declaration of Independence.We will arrive at the museum at 11 and view the Declaration of Independence. At approximately noon, tour of the Donnell House with Jeff Tarbox.Approximately at 12:30, lunch at Flight Deck Pizza & Beer Garden on the museum's pier.
