The Southport Memorial Library invites the community to visit our newly renovated Reading Nook.  The Nook is adjacent to the Children’s Room and is a sunny, comfortable space encouraging young children to curl up and read.  

The library’s Children’s Room has an extensive children’s book collection and a play space with toys, puzzles, dress up, and craft supplies.  The library also houses a butterfly collection, and free coffee is always available for parents! We encourage families with young children to stop by, visit our collections, relax, borrow, and read. The library is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Thursday evenings 6-8.
