Need theater signage
Dear Editor:
I don't think anyone has thought about the wear-and-tear on the parking lot in the Meadow Mall when residents and summer visitors drive through in order to read what is playing at the Harbor Theatre.
OK, I am on the way to the Y. I leave town, turn right at the light, cut through and stop at the theater to read the signage, and then continue past the bank and turn right onto Route 27. Over and over and over again. Hmm. And I do this slowly and carefully so as not to hit a pedestrian.
And this will not irritate any of the shoppers or other store owners? Hmm?
The answer is simple: restore the identifying sign on the front of the theater and place a changeable marquee out on the roadside. Win-win.
