The annual National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 3. The call has gone out from the NDP Task Force asking Christians to pray for unity in America. The Scriptural theme for this year’s event is Ephesians 4:3 ~ Making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

There will be a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. on May 3 at Boothbay Baptist Church to answer the call and pray for unity, harmony and oneness in America. Prayers will also be lifted up for unity in churches, families, communities and cities, as well as for forgiveness, reconciliation and healing.

The National Day of Prayer comprises prayer gatherings all over the country and in the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.
