N A Reny Construction hosts Community Lunch
A beautiful sunny day and the promise of a delicious lunch drew the largest crowd of the season to Community Lunch at Brady’s hosted by N A Reny Construction on Monday, March 6. The menu included Beef Stroganoff, Caesar salad, cheese stuffed crusty bread, and the special contribution of Moose Stew prepared by Guy Peaslee. Despite some pothole transport issues, there was enough food for everyone and exceptional, lively fellowship to go around! In addition to assorted desserts, everyone received an individual chocolate peanut butter goodness made by Paula Reny Warford. The perfect ending touch!
Nancy Van Dyke offered the blessing before lunch and shared the news of a miracle in our midst. As Guy was making his stew Sunday night, he received a phone call from friend Glade Bloom. A new liver was waiting for Glade in Boston if he could get there within the necessary window for a transplant. Needless to say, the stew was put on the back burner and Guy successfully drove Glade to his new life! (The stew was finished in the wee hours of Monday mornng and consumed by 12:30!
The next lunch will be held on Monday, March 13, at 11:30 a.m., hosted by The Anchor Church. All are welcome!
