More on liquid salt
Dear Editor:
Here are some of the things left out in the last letter for lack of space.
What is this liquid salt doing to our ground water and our reservoir water supplies? The next time you drive on the interstate, take a look at the trees that are all yellow. That is caused by this product it is 20 to 30 percent stronger than rock salt it is concentrated so it will not freeze in the truck tanks. The people of Maine cannot afford this any longer.
We, the people of Maine, pay the bills in this state and cannot afford the costly repairs that go with it. The next time your mechanic presents you with a whopping bill for repairs to your vehicle caused buy liquid salt, send the bill to the governor. We don't need Augusta telling us what is best for us.
