Sunday, Sept. 28 was crazy on the deck at Brady’s as the Mini Seahawks thundered down the boardwalk in their uniforms with parents, family, and friends cheering them on. Pier 1 Pizza, Pinkham’s Gourmet Market, and Darrell Gudroe all sponsored the event to celebrate the season while the weather was still beautiful for an outside festivity.
Sisters Lisa Hallinan and Teresa Orne kept the kids in line while chicken fingers, pizza, cupcakes and cookies, along with cold beverages, were all served to the hungry crowd. Renee Beck, decked out in her referee gear, helped keep not only the kids under control but innocent Brady’s patrons who stumbled upon the chaos!
Jeff Lewis, who brought his grandkids, also helped in keeping the busy and hungry football players organized for the meal.
After the meal, Earl Brewer instantly kid whispered the juiced-up bunch of adolescents into a controlled game of cornhole. There were several standouts during the match but 3rd graders Aullieand Phillip both had amazing accuracy in getting the bag in the hole from the full distance ... future G.O.A.T.S were in our presence!
