Photography is a passion. Mike has attended 14 Photoshop World conferences and applied much of what he learned in addition to 36 years of experience in television production to his vocation. He shares his knowledge through a program he has created called Photo Tourism where he helps connect businesses to people with cameras to help them learn how to make their best shots. The program attracts more patrons to the businesses and people get to make their very best vacation photos that naturally spawns more business. This year Mike has more than 24 photography cruises scheduled along the Maine coast including two happening right here in the Boothbay area. For a complete list of programs visit his website at www.phototourismbymike.com and click on the photo events tab.

Mike also offers photography services including photo editing for individuals, publications, magazines and websites. He offers stock photography for publications and publications as well. He also does his own fine art printing - including all of the images in this show.

His work is often seen on CBS 13 weather segments, in publications, websites and on The Weather Channel. On his list of favorite subjects to photograph are lightning storms, nightscapes, lighthouses, birds, and landscapes.

Mike will offer an Introduction to Your Digital Camera Course on April 18 from 1-3 p.m. at the Library. The course will be limited to 20 participants. A snow date of April 25 is in effect if needed. If more than 20 people sign-up then another course will be offered to facilitate that group. Please call the library to reserve your space at 633-2741.
