Meagan Forney, 40, of Boulder, Colo. died November 26, 2015 in Boulder.

Meagan was born on May 16, 1975 to Michael and Sharon Forney. She graduated from Oberlin College and worked as a consultant in Green Energy. Her family has ties to the Boothbay region.

Meagan enjoyed photography and art. She was an adventurer, an explorer, an artist and maker. She was an eager mom and coach. She loved gardening, camping and digging in the dirt.

Meagan is survived by her parents, Michael Forney and Sharon Battistini; daughter, Madeline Forney-Antolik; and sister, Shannon Forney.

A celebration of life was held Friday, December 4 at Greenwood and Myers Mortuary.
