Mah Jongg group donates to Food Pantry

The Boothbay Region Mah Jongg Group has for the last several years chosen the Boothbay Region Food Pantry as the charity to support.
The group raises money by selling Mah Jongg cards from the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL). For each card purchased, the NMJL contributes $5 for each card purchased to the charity of a group’s choice. This year, the local group was able to give the Boothbay Region Food Pantry a check for $1,175.
Group member Sarah Seepe presented the check to the Pantry’s Fleet Davies on Oct. 31.
