Dear Editor:

I was recently a patient at Miles Memorial Hospital where I got excellent care for six days.

I was also a patient at St. Andrews Hospital for 20 days of the most loving care I have ever received anywhere. The whole staff and Dr. Alan Barker were wonderful.

Twenty-six days is a long time to be gone from home. Being at St. Andrews made a big difference for me.

We need to keep our hospital.
