Local yokel hopes to inform and entertain at Adult Ed class

The week before April school vacation, Boothbay Region Adult Ed features what promises to be an entertaining and informative talk, “My 30 Years as Editor of the Boothbay Register” with Kevin Burnham on Thursday, April 13. Join Kevin as he recaps and reminisces about his 30 years at the Boothbay Register with stories about characters, news coverage, computers and more. From having to ask for a ride to cover his first car accident to celebrating the varsity boys basketball team's championship at the old Bangor Auditorium, to trying to keep the peace during the Boothbay roundabout issue last year. Kevin has seen and done a lot over the past 30 years. There will be time for questions and answers. Kevin grew up in the Boothbay region and graduated from Boothbay Region High School in 1975. The time is 6 to
7:30 p.m. The registration fee is $8.
