Lisa Burger, former licensed local pastor of East Boothbay and Southport United Methodist churches, will lead the service at the Wilson Memorial Chapel on Ocean Point on Sunday, July 27. The service is at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.

Burger is a graduate of the Small Church Leadership program at Bangor Theological Seminary. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Hope College in Holland, Mich., and earned an master’s degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind. Currently Burger continues God's call to be in ministry as the director of Regional Physician Practices for Central Maine Healthcare at Bridgton and Rumford Hospitals.

A native of Kingston, N.Y., Burger has lived full time in Maine since 1978. She enjoys being in the outdoors, playing golf, getting out on the lake in her boat, and working in her gardens and yard at her home in Brunswick.
