Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 2 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 206 calls for service for the period of Feb. 24 to March 3. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 2,106 calls for service.
Arrests
Lily Lewis, 20, of Bristol was arrested Feb. 27 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Lewis Lane, Bristol, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
George Edwards, 23, of Windsor was arrested Feb. 28 for Violating Condition of Release (x2) and Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Augusta Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Accidents
On Feb. 25, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Marcia L. Hughes, 75, of East Boothbay and Brenda L. Johnson, 62, of Wiscasset. Ms. Hughes was operating her 2024 BMW X3 southbound in snowy conditions and traveling too fast for the road conditions, when she lost control of her vehicle. As a result, her vehicle slid on snow and slid into Ms. Johnson’s 2013 Volvo XC90, which was traveling northbound. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 25, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Jefferson involving Karri E. Berry, 48, of Waldoboro; Tristan T. Thompson, 32, of Springfield, Massachusetts and Sarig M. L. Latreille, 27, of Jefferson. Ms. Berry was operating her 2006 Toyota Camry southbound and was driving too fast for the road conditions, when she lost control of her vehicle. As a result, she crossed the center line and entered the opposite lane. Mr. Thompson was operating his 2022 Peterbilt tractor trailer northbound when Ms. Berry’s vehicle spun around several times and collided with Thompson’s vehicle. Berry’s vehicle then came to rest on the right side of the roadway and Thompson’s vehicle left the roadway on the left and came to rest in a ditch. Mr. Latreille was operating his 2022 Ford F-250 northbound and drove off the roadway to avoid the crash. As a result, he entered the ditch and came to rest. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 25, an accident occurred on Paradis Point Road in Boothbay involving Wilson Mueller, 23, of Boothbay Harbor. Mr. Mueller was pulling out of a slippery/narrow driveway in his 2022 Ford F-450 and maneuvered so he would not strike a tree, which was located on the side of the driveway and struck a dwelling. Deputy Samuel Alexander was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 26, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Connor C. Dodge, 24, of Jefferson. Mr. Dodge was operating his 2010 Hyundai Elantra northbound when he hit a patch of dirt on the roadway, coming around a corner. Dodge then over corrected before going off the roadway on the right, striking a snowbank and rolling over onto his roof, before coming to final rest. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
On Feb. 26, an accident occurred on Heath Road in Whitefield involving Bailey S. Jackson, 19, of Whitefield. Ms. Jackson was operating her 2007 Hyundai Elantra northbound when she hit a patch of slush and went off the roadway on the right, traveled down the embankment and struck a patch of trees. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.
