Last Wiscasset outdoor movie night Aug. 25

Event has passed

Wiscasset Elementary School Partners in Education (PIE) and the WCC are looking forward to the final free movie night of the summer season, Friday, Aug. 25.  We’ll be showing the 2015 film, “Hotel Transylvania 2” at 8 p.m. at the Wiscasset Community Playground, 225 Gardiner Road, Wiscasset.

Film synopsis:  Dracula (Adam Sandler) has opened the Hotel Transylvania's doors to humans, and things are changing for the better; however, Drac is secretly worried that his half-human grandson, Dennis, isn't showing his vampire side. So, while Mavis and Johnny are away, Drac enlists his friends to help him put the boy through a "monster-in-training" boot camp. But things really get batty when Drac's cantankerous, old-school dad (Mel Brooks) pays an unexpected visit.

PIE concessions, including our popular pulled pork barbecue sandwich plates, will open before the film so be sure to bring your appetite! As always, popcorn and water will be provided free of charge courtesy of PIE.

In the event of rain, we’ll see everyone in the Wiscasset Community Center gym (242 Gardiner Road) and will begin rolling the film at 7 p.m.
