On Monday, Oct. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., the third CSC Fall Walk will be at the Langlais Art Preserve in Cushing, managed by the Georges River Land Trust. Participation in the Fall Walk series is free to CSC members, but registration is required.

The 90-acre sculpture park and woodland trails are on the former homestead of artist Bernard Langlais, and a dozen of his famous wooden sculptures dot the landscape. After an orientation by the program director, participants will visit those massive works before walking on the 2.5-mile Woodland Trail with its installation called Forest Geometries, and end with a picnic.

Participants must bring a $5 donation to the Land Trust for the third Fall Walk only. Registration is required and registrants will receive directions to the meeting place and detailed information about what to expect and what to bring. Information about the walks, membership and registration are available at coastalseniorcollege.org.
