Lady Seahawks soar past Lisbon, 46-10

The Boothbay Lady Seahawks snapped a two-game losing streak Jan. 3 defeating Lisbon, 46-10, at Porter Gymnasium. It also marked the second consecutive game Boothbay scored more than 40 points. Boothbay is now 2-5 and Lisbon falls to 0-5. Boothbay stormed out to a 19-0 lead and never looked back. Junior Magen Burge was the game-high scorer with 19 points. She also connected on three 3-pointers. Other Seahawk scorers were sophomore Tatum French with 13, senior Meg Sledge with 9, junior Anna Gosselin with three and sophomore Sophie White with two.

Boothbay’s next game is Friday at 6 p.m. versus Maranacook Community School in Readfield.
