Greetings from the members of the Knights of Pythias. We hope everyone has stayed warm over these below normal times.

We want to remind our members that annual dues need to be paid up and it is time to elect  new officers to our board. Any one wishing a position is asked to do so.

We have received help from our Grand Lodge for a purchase of a new furnace for our lodge; this has been something we have been working on for sometime now. Also, as we head into this new year, we will work towards a few more upgrades for the lodge. We are striving to make the lodge something to be proud of for our members and community. We are always looking for new members and welcome input from old and new ones. We also would like to get all of our members to make sure their mailing addresses are current on file for future mailing from our lodge.

On Saturday night, Jan. 20, we will be holding a dance featuring the Horse's Gone Wild Band! This band features Paul Martin, Jason Guimond, Frank Bretton and Garry Blackman, all from of some of Maine's best bands. The dance is from 7-10 p.m., BYOB, and admission is $10 per person. Our kitchen crew will be cooking and selling hamburgers and hot dogs. Come on out and enjoy a fun time.

Our next potluck will be held on Monday, Jan. 22 for members and guests.

Every Sunday starting at noon, cribbage games are open for everyone to join in.
