Dear Editor:

I wish to thank McSeagull's, Pier 1 Pizza, Robinson's Wharf, Mr. C's, China by the Sea, Stan's Boothbay Taxi, Richard's Riverside and Bobo's Coastal Cabs.

Their contributions made it possible to provide many patrons a safe way home on New Year's Eve. Outside of a few people having to wait for a cab, the overall consensus of the night was a success. For the third straight year there were no OUIs or alcohol-related accidents reported in Boothbay Harbor.

Once again, thank you all for your efforts and contributions to help keep the community safe.
