Dear Editor:

The municipal officers of Boothbay would like to sell the public access to Cross River.

It was voted at town meeting to retain this parcel of land for public access to the river and clam flats.

There is public access to the water in East Boothbay, Ocean Point, Murray Hill and on the islands. Why should the public be denied the use of Cross River and clam flats?
