Considering the position you are running for, what do you feel are the three most pressing issues? (350 words or less):
I am a dedicated public servant with a strong track record in Boothbay Harbor. Twenty-five years ago, in my capacity as a selectman, I contributed to the completion of Whale Park, reflecting on my dedication to improving community spaces for both residents and visitors. My leadership was especially evident during the 9/11 crisis, where I guided the community with compassion and resilience.
My experience extends to my service on the Lincoln County Budget Committee, where I developed a deep understanding of county and local services. I recognize the challenges and responsibilities that come with holding public office, always striving to make thoughtful decisions for the greater good.
Since 2018, I have been the founder and owner of Brady’s, a local establishment that has become an integral part of the community. Through the business, I have stayed closely connected to the evolving needs and concerns of Boothbay Harbor, especially as the community faced significant changes brought by COVID, the floods, and ongoing school and park controversies.
I believe in the power of civil discourse to resolve polarizing issues. My approach centers on listening, engaging respectfully, and fostering open communication. With my extensive experience and unwavering commitment to Boothbay Harbor, I am prepared to yet again serve as a thoughtful and effective community leader.
